Why Plein Air?

If you are an artist that struggles with getting bogged down in detail this workshop will be both challenging and rewarding.

What you can expect to learn

We’ll begin our day with a review of equipment necessary to keep you comfortable and productive as you paint.  I will provide you with some practical tips for simplifying the overwhelming detail you see in front of you and organizing them into a solid composition.  I will offer each of you individualized direction as your painting progresses. Open to all skill levels.  This workshop focuses on oil as a medium but acrylic and watercolourists are also welcome.
